Answer:

(Over 90% of customers visiting the My Khang showroom ask this question.)

All kitchen cabinets and furniture from My Khang are locally manufactured at our two production facilities in Binh Duong and Dong Nai, Vietnam.

Answer:

Depending on the design and customer preferences, our products are made from:

  • 100% natural wood,
  • A combination of natural wood and engineered wood, or
  • Entirely engineered wood.

At My Khang, we primarily use three types of high-quality natural wood:

  • Walnut
  • Oak
  • Ash

All of our natural wood materials are imported from North America (USA) due to their superior color, durability, and adaptability to Vietnam’s humid climate. Both natural wood and veneer are kiln-dried in the U.S. to meet international health and safety standards.

For engineered wood, we use:

  • MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard)
  • Moisture-resistant HMR (High Moisture Resistance)
  • E1-standard moisture-resistant MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard)

These materials are sourced from Metro and Panel Plus (Thailand)—two of the leading manufacturers in Southeast Asia.

Additionally, acrylic and laminate materials are imported from Europe, ensuring premium quality and aesthetics.

Answer:

Yes. All MFC, MDF, and Plywood materials used by My Khang Interior meet E1 standards and are sourced from Metro and Panel Plus (Thailand)—two of the leading manufacturers in Southeast Asia.

All solid wood and veneer materials are kiln-dried in the U.S., ensuring they meet strict health and safety standards.

Answer:

  • Formaldehyde is a gas that can negatively impact health. Prolonged exposure to high levels of formaldehyde can cause serious skin and respiratory issues, leukemia, and even cancer. All types of engineered wood (such as MDF, Particle Board, and Plywood) use adhesives for bonding, and these adhesives contain a certain amount of formaldehyde depending on their quality and price.
  • Currently, the engineered wood market offers many low-cost products that do not meet formaldehyde emission standards. To regulate this, European countries have established formaldehyde emission classifications: E2, E1, and E0, which define the allowable formaldehyde levels in wood materials.

  • In developed countries such as Europe, Australia, the United States, and Japan, only E0 and E1-certified engineered wood (or equivalent) is permitted for use. In contrast, some developing countries in Southeast Asia and Africa still allow the use of E2-grade wood.
